Welcome

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to welcome you to the 3rd Workshop on Benchmarking Solid State Properties, from the BEST-CSP COST Action CA22107 (Bringing Experiment and Simulation Together in Crystal Structure Prediction).
As in the previous editions, the workshop will provide an excellent setting to assess the progress of the BEST-CSP Action and stimulate collaborations between members of the different working groups involved in experiment or computation. The meeting has no registration fees and is open to researchers that are not member of the Action and are interested in the topics involving physical properties of organic molecular materials both from an experimental and a computational point of view.
Registration is mandatory for all participants.
Please have a look at the Scientific Program to get a glimpse of the lectures to be presented. Slots are available for oral and poster communications, so we encourage everyone to submit an oral/poster presentation to the workshop for consideration.
Participation of students and young researchers is strongly encouraged.
We look forward to seeing you in Lisbon on 16 and 17 July 2026.

Poster Presentations

Posters, maximum A0 in portrait orientation, can be put on display from July 16 (8:30 am) until the end of the workshop. Please make sure the poster is fixed in the allocated placard (look for the placard with the number of your poster). Material for fixing the posters to the placards will be available at the registration desk.
Please stand next to your poster during the poster sections. This will promote discussion and will be essential for poster prize evaluations by the selection committee.

Oral Presentations

The total duration of presentations, including questions, when applicable, is:

• Keynote lectures: 30 minutes+5 minutes for questions.

• Presentations by WG leaders: 15 minutes, no questions. Questions can be placed in the discussion session that follows each group of presentations.

• Flash presentations of selected posters: 3 minutes, no questions. Questions can be placed during the poster sessions.

Session chairs have been advised to be strict with time, so that the sessions can run smoothly and switch between presenters can be made on time. Please do not go over the allotted time.
You will not be able to plug your own laptop into the conference projection system. So please bring your presentation on a data stick, or other portable memory device, to the organization, as soon as possible, so that it can be uploaded onto the conference laptop before the beginning of your session (ideally in the previous day). This will ensure a smooth transition between speakers.
In the case of Flash presentations, PowerPoint presentation files should be sent to the Organizing Committee (email: 3wbestcsp@fc.ul.pt) by 15 July. Each presentation is strictly limited to 3 minutes. Microphones will be muted if the time limit is exceeded.
